Parents of students with special needs seeking admission into Sonari College for their child must fix a prior appointment to meet the Learning Center coordinator.
A copy of the student’s medical reports, psychological and psycho-educational evaluation reports and previous school reports must be submitted to the Learning Center. In case these reports are not available, the Learning Center coordinator guides the parents to procure them. Only then, admission to Sonari College is considered, if a seat is available.

If the student’s need can be met by the College and if he/she can benefit from services offered by the Learning Center, then placement in an appropriate grade is suggested.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The student desiring to get admission is advised to apply only in a prescribed form that can be obtained from the  institution along with a prospectus after paying a certain amount of money. Paper advertisement for admission is made immediately after announcement of various results of final examinations and candidates are to submit the dully filled up forms along with all the documents such as pass certificates, marks-sheet, age certificate etc. A date is fixed for admission into a particular class . Admission is generally made on merit basis. A list is prepared for eligible candidates for admission and they are asked to appear before an interview board on a fixed date.
There is an admission board; the decision of all matters relating to admission is made by it.
