Sonari College provides the following courses of study : 1. Two year Higher Secondary Course in Arts and Science under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. 2. Three year Degree Course (1+1+1) for both Arts & Science under Dibrugarh University.

SUBJECTS OFFERED FOR THE HIGHER SECONDARY 

Arts H.S. (+2) Course – English, MIL (Assamese), Alternative English, Political-Science, Education, Economics, History, Advanced Assamese and Mathematics. Science H.S. (+2) Course – English, MIL (Assamese), Alternative English Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics. Students are to select six subjects including English, MIL (Assamese), or Alternative English as compulsory subjects.

SUBJECTS OFFERED FOR THE DEGREE COURSE 

B.A. Pass Course – English, MIL (Assamese), Alternative English, Additional-Assamese (for Assamese Major), Political-Science, Education, Economics, History, Elective Assamese and Mathematics. (Students are to select two subjects other then English, Assamese or Elective English). B.A. Major Course – English, Assamese, Political-Science, Education, Economics, History & Mathematics. B.Sc. Pass Course – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology. B.Sc. Major Course – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology.
